How to find the model number of your fridge? If you’ve never dealt with refrigerator repairs before, locating the model number can be confusing. For appliance technicians, it’s straightforward—but for homeowners, it’s not always obvious.
In this video, we explain how to find the model number of the fridge.
To locate the label with the model number, open the refrigerator compartment door. Check the left-hand side wall or the right-hand side wall inside the fridge. You should see a sticker with the model number on one of those interior walls.
In some rare cases, the label may be located inside the freezer compartment instead.
Why do you need the model number? Because it allows you to identify and order the correct replacement parts for your refrigerator.
